The Blue Watcher - Lena Galé

An invented creature stands in profile on an empty white ground, drawn in blue, violet and turquoise ink. Its heavy head carries one large eye with a pale ring around the pupil, and ribbed antler-like crests sweep back from the brow, speckled with white dots. The whole body is filled with small cell-like scales, and short stumpy legs end in splayed webbed feet, with a thin tail curling up at the back.

Drawn in ink and watercolour on paper, built up from thousands of fine cells and strokes. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
