My Coffee Break - Martina Karlsson

A figure in a wide black hat sits at a café table behind an open newspaper headed Daily Good News, with drawn faces and two women in red hats printed across its pages. Striped cream and black trousers and a matching coat fall over a black chair, and red pointed boots cross on a grey tiled floor. Two white cups of coffee stand on the round brown table in front of a panelled wood wall.

Painted in gouache in flat blocks of colour, with the newspaper and the wood grain drawn in fine black lines. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
