A favourite crossing - Vanyay

Hard-edged shapes cross the picture: a yellow band and a white band run down from the top right over a pink ground, a black and white fan opens from the middle, and broad orange and red stripes fill the bottom. Dark grey circles are set along the top, and brushed grey marks run through the white band.

Built from photography and digital design, the shapes laid flat with the texture of paper and paint carried through. Vanyay works across photography, digital design and painting, and studied communication, photography and graphic design at Goldsmiths and UCL in London. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
